Report on public services rendered by Almaty city Akimat in 2021

Almaty city Department of Digitalization issued a report on public services rendered in 2021.

According tto the Register of public services, 165 types of public services were provided in 2021 by Almaty minicipality, including:

  • 154 types of services through ‘e-government’ portal; (out of that, 85 types of services were available through Almaty akimat structures on the ‘alternative’ basis).
  • 9 types of services – ‘paper-based only’;
  • 2 types of services – ‘paper-based’, provided on the principle of ‘one-stop application’.

Almaty akimat public services were also provided through the websites and information systems of relevant departments (balabaqsha.open-almaty.kz, bilimalmaty.kz, medical information system ‘DamuMed’, information system ‘InfoLab’, portal ‘Bureau of hospitalization’, etc.).

The diagram below shows quarterly change in the number of public services rendered (by line of work of Almaty city departments).

According to the diagram, the difference in the number of services rendered in II, III and IV quarters does not exceed 10%, with the exception of certain seasonal services provided by some departments of Almaty city. The Department of Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure Development provided only 1 type of public service in the third quarter of 2021.

The graph below shows the ratio of preferences of service recipients (Almaty city residents) in the areas covered by minicipal departments and rayon akimats.
