November 16-23, 2022: Almaty Cyber Games 2022 (ACG)

From November 16 to November 23, 2022, the qualifying round and qualifying stages of the largest esports event of this year, Almaty Cyber Games, were held online. 64 participating teams in 2 disciplines and 32 individual athletes determined the strongest of their number. Later, on November 27 and 28, the LAN-finals of this tournament were held in the city of Almaty at the Intercontinental Hotel. The event was organized by the tournament operator iPlay Esports with the support of the Akimat and the Digitization Department of the city of Almaty.

The total prize fund of the tournament was 3,000,000 tenge, the competition was held in 3 disciplines: Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2 and FIFA 23

The Kalash +4 team became the winners of the CS:GO tournament, the Shag Vpered 4 team won in Dota 2, 1erdaaa became the strongest cyber football player.

In the halls of the Intercontinental these days it was possible to see and get acquainted with streamers: Adren, Acoolfifa, MuMino, Keen, Aigera Dunamis, Nigmaabq and bloggers: Hakim Mukaram, Essentay, Shakesh, AsylRomeo.

The event was highlighted by a show match with the participation of legends of the Kazakh esports pro scene and stars of the streamer community, a cosplay contest and the participation of popular bloggers in the coverage of the event, autograph sessions were also held. Each visitor could join the esports community of the republic, look at the digital entertainment industry in a new way.

Almaty Cyber Games - can rightfully be called an esports festival, which clearly demonstrated the capabilities of the digital infrastructure of the “southern capital”, we thank all participants of the tournament and see you next year!
